Section 9
Expert committee can be formed
: (1) The ministry has at most geological experts, medical experts, disaster management experts, environmental experts or infrastructure experts to formulate policies, plans and programs related to disaster management and to provide advice and suggestions in disaster related studies and research work. A five-member expert committee can be formed.
(2) The qualifications, work, duties and facilities of the members of the committee as per sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
